A summer holiday here is a true experience – especially for nature lovers! The reason Sweden is widely known for its many lakes is obvious in this region.
Here you have the possibility of either enjoying peace and quiet or an active holiday with many activities either on your own or in the company of a guide.

There are numerous hiking excursions all varying in length and all suitable for the entire family.
Take a picnic basket along with you and enjoy the vast expanse of wilderness.
A flower hike to the top of Ansätten is a little more demanding physically but still suitable for everyone.
Would you like to know more about the flowers and plants in the area? Take one of the local guides with you who will tell you all there is to know.

We also rent out mountain bikes for those wanting to explore the surroundings by bike. Why not rent a boat and go fishing?
There is also a bathing area nearby complete with an outdoor fireplace and sauna.

Guided excursions with accommodation in tents, “Hiking School” for beginners, hiking with dogs and fishing excursions lasting several days are all part of Fjällspirit’s current assortment of summer activities. From the summer of 2007 guests will also be able to participate in canoe and rafting excursions while corporate visitors can take part in various teambuilding activities.
We are currently working on a “Multi-activity week” which will be available as of 2007.

Hiking excursions lasting several days
Luckily the Right of Public Access (Allemansrätten) still exists in Sweden. The Right of Public Access allows us to hike freely and to camp in tents. The exact content of the excursion depends on how many days the participants wish to spend hiking. The Ansättfjällen Mountains are incorporated in all the excursions. All the participants help out making camp and prepare their own food. Let us know what your specific wishes are and we will provide you with a quote, together with a list of things you need to bring along such as a rucksack, sleeping bag, tent etc.


Hiking School
This course is aimed at the motivated beginner. Learn how to raise the tent and how to choose a suitable place in which to do it. You will also learn how to make fire in any weather using only natural means, how to use a map and compass, how to predict and solve difficult issues etc. You will learn how to live in harmony with nature and how to make use of all the possibilities it has to offer. Learn the tricks of the trade and you’ll be able to survive anywhere in the world! THIS IS A TRULY ENRICHING EXPERIENCE!


Fishing Excursions
A combination of a hiking excursion and the fantastic fishing this area has to offer is an unforgettable experience, regardless of whether you are an experienced fisherman or a beginner. Feel free to bring your own equipment.


Hiking excursion with Husky
This excursion will be on offer from 2007. Each participant is responsible for his/her dog. You will be given the opportunity to get to know the dogs and we will agree on which dog is best suited to you prior to heading out. During the excursion you will be responsible for feeding your dog, your dog’s sleeping place and his/her general wellbeing. In most cases the dogs will carry their own food in a so called “Klövjeväska”.
